About the Winery
We have spent the last decade, experimenting and refining hard cider and mead making techniques using Old World methods. Our winery operates out of the refurbished Monkton Mill, an old, circa 1840's grist mill, which is a perfect example of our approach to business and life. Recreate, explore and rediscover.

About the Winery

About the Winery
Basignani Winery has been producing a variety of wines using traditional cellar methods and old world viticulture since opening in 1986. Emphasizing quality over quantity, our wines are unfiltered, reaching their full potential while preserving their character. Located in the rolling hills of "horse country" just north of Hunt Valley, visitors are invited to taste our wines, tour the winery and vineyards, and purchase wines to take home, or enjoy with a picnic on our grounds.

About the Winery
The oldest of Maryland's wineries, Boordy Vineyards is nestled in the Long Green valley of northeastern Baltimore County. Fine wines, champagne, and port are crafted in a historic 19th-century fieldstone barn. Special events are held throughout the year, including intimate tastings in the cellars, summer evening dance concerts, and open-air festivals. Boordy's bucolic setting and old world charm allow you to forget that you're only a half-hour from downtown Baltimore.

About the Winery
There’s a story in every bottle... Legends is one of the newer vineyards in Harford County. In April 2008, over 2,100 vines were planted. Four different varieties of vines will begin to grow: Merlot, Viognier, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay. The proprietors' love of wine quickly outgrew as a hobby when their dreams of owning a vineyard became a reality on an ideal site in Harford County.
Activities
About the Winery
Our Southeasterly oriented slopes provide long hours of light exposure inclusive of rays reflected off the vast Chesapeake Bay. This optimizes photosynthesis; thereby, converting the sun's rays into sugar and juice stores within the grapes. Aided by our terroir, complimented by long sunny days, cool autumn nights, and a constant Chesapeake breeze, we simply seek to convert these sweet juices... produced from rays... into bottles of wine ...for life, love, family, and friends.
