2009 Harvest Update

With most grapes off the vine, Maryland's 2009 vintage is progressing in tanks and barrels throughout the state. Wineries reported an overall high-quality harvest, despite the wet conditions late in the season.

With four new wineries producing their first wines this year, expect to see some interesting varieties and exciting new wines debut in 2010!

Thanks for a Great Wine Festival Season!

We would like to thank you and our festival sponsors for making the 2009 Maryland wine festivals such a success.

Thanks to Howard County Recreation and Parks, The Trigger Agency, Carroll County Farm Museum and Carroll County Commissioners, Historic Sotterley and Wicomico County Tourism. 2010 festival dates will be posted soon.
