2009 Maryland Wine Photo Contest
The long drive through the vineyards that leads visitors
to the tasting room...Dew-laden bunches of Chambourcin ripening
on the vine...Wine-stained casks aging next year's award-winning
Cabernet... The festivities of holiday parties in the cellars...
Maryland's wineries and vineyards are beautiful sights
in all seasons. And the scenery only gets better as the activity
begins at harvest and into winter.
See the winning photos from the the current and past Maryland Wine Photo Contests.

Instructions: Each
entry may include two to four photos of Maryland wineries, vineyards,
and their operations. Photos may be landscape, scenic or detail
– but all subjects must be identifiable as part of Maryland
vineyard or winery operations. Examples: barrels, cellars, vines,
grape bunches, vineyard rows, harvesting.
Submission specs:
Entries must be submitted in high-resolution, digital format files.
• Photos must not be digitally altered.
• Acceptable file formats: JPG, TIF, PCT, PSD only.
• Required resolution: High-resolution files, able to be printed
in large-format sizes.
• Submission media: CD or DVD via mail.
Entry fee: Each
entry (of two to four photos) must be accompanied by $20, cash or
check made out to Maryland Wineries Association.
Contest deadline:
All photos must be postmarked no later than January 15, 2009.
Prizes: The first-prize
winning photographer will receive $500 and have a photo selected
for a “Maryland Wine Artist Series” poster. The first-prize

Rights & Responsibilities:
The photographer retains the rights to the photo, and grants the
