The Maryland Wine Festival®

The best way to learn about Maryland wine is to hop on the wine trail and visit the wineries for yourself. Take the Trivia Road Rally challenge and visit more than 10 wineries—and answer the trivia questions correctly—and you can enter to win great prizes.

The Details
Complete the rally between August 1 and September 3. Visit 10 out of Maryland’s 19 participating wineries. Get your form stamped and answer a rally question about the winery before continuing to next winery. Pick your course; pick your time frame. Cruise across Maryland to enjoy the State’s outstanding wines and scenic back roads.

Mail your completed rally form to the Carroll County Farm Museum at
500 South Center Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Envelopes must be postmarked by September 5, 2008.

All completed forms will be placed into a random drawing that will take place at the Carroll County Farm Museum on September 12, 2008. Winners will be drawn at random and will be notified by September 15.

The Maryland Wine Festival® Trivia Road Rally Prizes
First Place: A Gift Basket containing a Gift Certificate for a 2-night stay at Folly’s Cove Bed & Breakfast in St. Michaels, MD; a $25 gas card, 2 bottles of wine, 2 wine glasses, four PREMIER passes to The Maryland Wine Festival® to be used either September 20 or 21 (one day), and a Private Wine Tasting at a winery of their choice.

Second Place: Four tickets to The Maryland Wine Festival® and a Gift Certificate for a Private Wine Tasting at a winery of your choice.

Third Place: Four tickets to The Maryland Wine Festival®.
