Gate Admission: The gate admission price of $25.00 for adults 21 and older with I.D. entitles ticket holders to a logo-engraved wine glass, samples of Maryland wines, attendance at the Wine Education Seminars, continuous on-stage entertainment, guided tours of the Museum’s 19th Century Farmhouse, and self-guided tours of period artisan exhibits and demonstrations.
Those aged 7-20 are admitted for $5.00, and children 6 and under are admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult. Designated driver tickets may be purchased for $20; no wine glass and no samples are included.
Advance Tickets: Advance adult and Premier tickets may be purchased on-line using Mastercard or Visa through September 9, 2009 by visiting: 2009 Maryland Wine Festival Advance Ticket Sales.
Advance adult tickets are $20.00, a $5.00 saving over the 2009 gate admission.
Premier tickets are $45.00 in advance and include the $20.00 regular adult advance ticket. They admit ticket holders to an exclusive area which includes samples of premium wines not served at the main festival, samples of cuisine from area restaurants, soft music, and private portable restroom; a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the main festival. Ticket holders may come and go as often as they like all day. A limit of 300 premier tickets will be sold each day so advance purchase is strongly advised. When purchasing these tickets, buyer must specify either Saturday or Sunday ticket. Tickets will be sold at the festival for $50.00 only if the daily limit has not been met through pre-sales.
Advance tickets may also be purchased via phone (410-386-3880 or 800-654-4645), also using Visa or Mastercard.
Walk-in purchases of advance tickets can be made in the Museum’s Administration Building Monday through Friday only from 8:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. using Mastercard, Visa, Personal Check with proper ID, or cash.
