The Maryland Wineries Association presents DECANTER—the second annual event to highlight the heritage and tradition of both Maryland wine and Maryland horse racing—on April 21-22, 2012 at historic Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, home of the Preakness Stakes.

Great Grapes! is Baltimore’s premier casual wine tasting with great Maryland wines available for tasting. Take your souvenir tasting glass as you enter the festival and stroll from tent to tent and table to table tasting and sampling the rich Heritage of Maryland vines. As you sip and savor the afternoon, relax in the beautiful green setting of Oregon Ridge Park.
You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the great LIVE music on the Main Stage. Sit down and learn while the experts give you hands-on demos in the
Gourmet Live! tent with wine and food pairings.

Join us for the second annual Eat•Drink•Go LOCAL event! This is a pairing of what Southern Maryland region has to offer––think local produce and local wine––with an open air Farmers' Market feel. Browse local produce from regional farmers and enjoy cooking demonstrations -- all the while learning which local wines to pair with local fare.

Come join the blues fans from all over to listen to an excellent array of blues performed by musicians from the tri-state area. You will be blown-away by our amazing line-up which includes a diverse style of Hard Rocking Rhythm and Blues, Zydeco and Blues that touches your deep soul. In addition to the music, we will have the Wineries of Maryland to offer their latest assortments of wines for tasting.
Take pleasure in Maryland wine with tastings from the wineries, live music, foods from local restaurants, arts and crafts and wine education seminars. Don't miss the presentation of the Governor's Cup Awards announcements on stage each day of the festival.
