Wine Down Friday with Lynn Routzhan!

Knob Hall Winery

Born and raised in the hills of Western Maryland, Lynn Routzahn acquired an eclectic taste in the mid/late 1960's for the music that is now considered timeless. At seven years old after displaying a natural ability on an old Sunday school piano he started piano lessons that taught him the necessary basic elements that he has carried ever since. At eight years old he struck his first chord on a cheap guitar and now after 51 years he has developed a style that is second to none. Getting together with childhood friends who also played guitar and drums a band was born in 1968 that played parties and school functions. At age 15 in January of 1971 he played his first barroom "gig" and in that golden decade became a mainstay of the PA, MD, VA, and WV region. Playing everything from rock, country, folk, pop, and bluegrass he honed his performance skills while gaining a wealth of knowledge in song styling and a knack of writing catchy tunes.
