A shout out to anyone who thinks owning a winery is cool!!! Volunteer for bottling and see what it's REALLY like to do manual labor and drink bloody marys. Just kidding. We need able-bodied folks who can lift 30 lbs or so and stand for a long period of time to help us bottle, cork, and pack wine bottles into cases. We have a blast. March Madness brings us to a favorite holiday, St. Patrick's day! DeJon will celebrate it on March 10th, from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy a traditional corn beef and cabbage, and potatoes meal. A vegetarian offering will also be presented, as well as dessert. Brendan Pelan, a born and bred true Irishman, of "The Celtic Mandolin," will be the music performer. We will also present 3 dancers from the Ryan-Kilcoyne School of Irish dancing. These spritely and beautiful dancers will perform from 6:30 to 7 pm. Try to keep your eyes on their feet as they dance on air! The pricing is $25.00/pp, with free entry to case club members, and either a complete tasting with glass or your choice of a glass of wine. For those who remember last year's St. Patrick's day and the 140 people who showed up when we were expecting 90, please drop us a line or call and tell us that you are coming! We don't want to run out of food. Wear a bit o'green, and come over and enjoy the music, the dancers, the food and of course, the wine.
